ENDSARS MEMORIAL 2022: Protesters on the run as police fires teargas at lekki toll gate
Peaceful protesters who joined the EndSARS tollgate memorial procession today October 20, at the lekki tollgate have dispersed as police fire tear gas at them.
The civilians are gathered at the toll gate in remembrance of and to mark the second anniversary of the shooting which occurred on this same day 2 years ago October 20, 2022.
This occur as a result of a peaceful protest tagged EndSARS for an end to police brutality. although, government claims that no one was harmed in the process but witness insist that people died and many others were left injured.
To hereby,mark the second anniversary of the lekki massacre, civilians have gathered again at the toll gate for a memorial procession, but unfortunately, police have been seen firing teargas to disperse them.
