Nigerians Commemorate Second ‘EndSARS’ Memorial Anniversary

The EndSARS memorial second anniversary peaceful procession passed through the Lekki Tollgate, the scene of the shooting that took place on Tuesday, October 20, 2020.

Youths were seen carrying dummy coffin, flowers and chatting solidarity songs to honour those who lost their lives.

Earlier, Comedian and Citizens Activist, Adebowale Debo Adedayo also known as Mr Macaroni has taken to his Twitter account to notify Nigerians of this year’s Memorial procession.

Macaroni post reads: ” Peaceful Walk tomorrow in honour of all #EndSARS and Police Brutality Victims!!!

We no go fit ever forget!!!!

Also, Nigerian Singer, Folarin Falana, popularly called Falz , yesterday, announced the procession to commemorate EndSARS second Memorial.

His post reads,” We are walking peacefully tomorrow to honour our fallen heroes from the #LekkiMassacre#EndSARS

Recall that October 2020, EndSARS protest started with youths protesting across the country against police brutality which later ended with shootings at Lekki Tollgate in Lagos State.

The presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC), Omoyele Sowore, Falz, Mr Macaroni were spotted at the procession at Lekki Tollgate on Thursday October,20.
